About us
About us
Having created a super successful and recognizable brand both in Namibia and elsewhere, but now living in Germany full-time, Richard and Maria decided it was time to pass it on to new hands.
My name is David Bishop and those hands are mine. I am committed to continue the journey that Richard and Maria started and to work with all climbers to ensure the future of climbing in Namibia.
There are upgrades to the Urban Friction climbing gym in the pipeline, as well as getting the climbing tours back off the ground. There are plans for the formalization, and recognition of, the sport - and there is even a dream of a Namibian on the Olympic climbing wall.
Here's to loads of adventures together.
