Stretch you tired limbs - it's climbing time!
We constantly endeavour to find, develop and expand climbing crags. Namibia is full of surprises and undiscovered treasures just waiting to be explored and Urban Friction has a substantial hand - or two - in developing climbing areas.
We made significant contributions to spotting, organizing, drilling and ultimately opening two thrilling multi-pitch routes in 2018: Mamba No. 5 at Spitzkoppe, a grippingly hard route and one of the longest in southern Africa, and Passion & Pain at Mount Mulanje, Malawi - a well-sustained beauty of a route along Africa's largest rockface.
A constant effort is also directed at route development of our home crags, such as Auas, which now shines with three new routes since last week.
As much as we love the outdoors, we love to challenge you on our indoor wall every time anew! Our ongoing changes provide you with ever-diverse climbing routes. Here is our new challenge: Yesterday we finished setting the hardest route so far - practice it for the next 2 months, climb it in 1 go and draw one of our vouchers.
Good luck!
